Congratulations to Ibrahim Mamadou Maїmounatou for her PhD!

Congratulations to Ibrahim Mamadou Maїmounatou, Manager of the captive ostrich breeding sites of Sahara Conservation in Niger, who becomes the first woman to get a PhD at the University of Diffa!

Maïmounatou defended last month her PhD thesis in Ecology and Environment with a very honorable mention in front of the jury, on the subject “Preliminary characterization of a site for the reintroduction of the North African ostrich (struthio camelus camelus (Linneaus, 1858)): example applied in the Koutous, Niger”.

During her 4 years of doctoral studies at the University of Diffa in Niger, Maïmounatou was supervised by Mr. Ali Mahamane, full professor of the university.

We support Maïmounatou since the beginning of her thesis and are proud of her course and her results.
Bravo Maïmounatou!
