Our logo features the Scimitar-horned Oryx, a magnificent antelope once abundant throughout the Sahel. Because of over-hunting the oryx is now extinct in the wild. SCF is working to restore the oryx from captive populations and to prevent the extinction of other birds and mammals.

SCF is governed by a Board of Directors and is advised by a Conservation Committee. Day-to-day, the organization is led and managed by its Chief Executive Officer from an office in Europe.
